At Ideas Lab, Winston drives the development of key technologies in Ideas Lab’s portfolio. Winston started his passion in computing after asking for an Apple II+ computer as a birthday gift from his mother. In high school, he was invited to teach Advanced Placement classes, while developing a heuristic AI, self-learning, game playing algorithm that won second place in the NYS science competition. His desire in AI and cognitive intelligence continued into university where he taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses in numerical computing, algorithms and systems architecture. He has over 25 years of applied software engineering experience starting his career at Goldman Sachs before continuing into positions at Deloitte and Deutsche Bank. Winston graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University.
